I also saw signs of small bucks running. The thing is, I didn't see any does. none, zip, zilch, nada, nuttin. I think if the weather cools by next weekend, things are going to really snap. We should see plenty of daytime movement of the bukaroos then.

I forgot...I found the bullet while I was butchering the deer today. I hit the buck high in the shoulder on the left side and it traveled up the spine and lodged in the hide of the neck on the oposite side. Bullet traveled about 12-15" of spine.

That would explain the bang-flopage.

Swing in there this weekend, I think there will be a full crew.

We are both headed up on Thursday I think. I would like to leave here by noon. It is about 170 miles from here.

Should I bring the generator up there. If you think we will work on the walls again, I will. Just let me know what you think.
