And the night got deathly quiet, and his face lost all expression. Said "If you're going play the game, boy, you gotta learn to play it right.." SHOWTIME -- It's getting down to the nitty-gritty, fellow Gamblers. There are quite a few tough and relevant games this time around. On the line are conference championships and bowl implications, and as always major bragging rights. Picks 1 and 2 are Friday games. Good luck - 1. West Virginia @ Pittsburgh 2. Auburn @ Alabama 3. Michigan @ Ohio State 4. Michigan State @ Penn State 5. LSU @ Arkansas 6. Florida @ Florida State 7. South Florida @ Miami 8. Oregon State @ Stanford 9. Mississippi State @ Mississippi 10. Oklahoma @ Oklahoma State - plus total points for tiebreaker

1. Pittsburgh (wife's alma mater)
2. Alabama (Katshit is an Auburn fan)
3. Michigan (can they both lose? Seriously... if tofu wins, they just get to be arse-raped by someone in a bowl game this year, and clog up the race. A Meeschitagin wins keeps RichRod employed. But, a tofu loss lets Wisconsin get the BigCan'tCount title, and they've earned it... so...)
4. Penn State (I know better, but it's JoePa...)
5. LSU (Again, I know better...)
6. Florida (No way I'm taking the 'noles... not with them fighting it out with NC State for the Atlantic division in the ACC)
7. Miami (Damn... ThugU vs. mini-ThugU; but the BIL is a 'Canes fan, so...)
8. Stanford (have the Beavs look worse, prior them knocking out Oregon next week)
9. Mississippi State (Can't pick Ol' Miss, the PC-caving in bastids)
10. Oklahoma (just to muddy the Big12 picture even more) - plus total points for tiebreaker: 67 points

10. Oklahoma State - total points for tiebreaker 60

VA, I see you are still bitter over that painful experience with the tOSU O-line - Please let it go - forgiving is a part of the healing process.

I thought about putting up Texas-Texas A&M but that is a Thursday - Thanksgiving Day - game. Folks generally have plenty else to do on that day. I also considered Clemson-SC but didn't want to have to put up with your hang-wringing - that said, it is expected to be a rather close game. As are most of these other picks.

WTF are you talking about? tofu fans have, to date, been the rudest, most disrespectful, football-illiterate, overbearing, nerve-grating, homers for the most overrated CFB team in the last ... hell, 40 years... that I've ever met. And, those are the high points of their personalities...

I recently posted what is percieved to be the real reason behind your hatred for Ohio State - you know, the ugly locker room incident where you got turned out by all those mean Buckeyes. As for being rude et cetera, you certainly know whereof you speak. But - you certainly had the good grace to lie low and stfu after last after the last Rose Bowl. Are you a bit in the bag tonight, sweetie -- ??? Go night-night..

I'm very disappointed in the omission of Cle-SC.
Good picks overall though.

Decided not to have four SEC games - left off what should be a good Clemson-SC joust for reasons stated above There are a few more ranked teams playing this weekend but none are expected to be close games. Boise State, Oregon and TCU should win by wide margins. We don't like easy picks, now do we?

Are you a bit in the bag tonight, sweetie -- ??? Go night-night.. You are rather delusional. Been to the state of Ohio once, and nowhere near Columbus. Have to say the state rather sucks, though. Can't say as your recollections of why you're such a fan of tofu surprise me none, though... did they at least give you a reach-around, or did you have your mouth and hands otherwise occupied at the time, as well? As for the Rose Bowl, a coherent recitation of wtf you're trying to say, would help your case. Not in the bag at all, nor even close. You?

I seem to remember you spouting your usual venom as to how tOSU was going to get hosed blah blah again before last the Rose Bowl, but afterwards many of us enjoyed the merciful silence. Your picks are pretty much an embarrassment, eh? I would think an expert such as yourself would do MUCH better here. Really. Sorry about your mistreatment in Ohio. You apparently live very close to I-95 now, though - there is in fact a song that brings you to mind.

As for the rest, you're all horned up aren'tcha? Just thinking about linemen got you that way, so have at it.... I guess...

No need to feel sorry for me, though I can't say the converse is true.
