I'll chip in. Hint, relatively new war movie (2004). Hardness, 9.9, reasonably obscure, and a foreign film too. Good luck. Okay, I blatantly cheated and in ask.com asked "south korea's answer to saving Private Ryan". At least I knew the right clue to find it. It's Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War. I rented it some time ago. Good flick. Winner.....sort of, I guess Yes, it is a good flick.

I think I saw that on the shelf.. Koreans? Is the name of the movie in Korean? I see Jim got it...OK, new rules, no foreign obscure movies! Sorry, fair call. Just figured it being quite a good war flick, that some of you might have seen it. I didn't know its Korean title though, only it's foreign release title "Brotherhood of War". Are obscure Aussie films fair game???? You've already had "Breaker Morant", "Gallipoli" and "The Man from Snowy River"!!! Actually, that's about all we have!

George Orwell was a Prophet, not a novelist. Read 1984 and then look around you!

How about this one then? All from the same Aussie film.. (And as we are dealing with a cunning Aussie, these have been carefully selected so the JPEG files don't give the game away too easily either! )

Thank you Pete, but I don't cheat that way, and I have no idea what that one is.

IIRC "cry a little, laugh a lot" were some of the lyrics from the films theme.
Great thread by the way....enjoying this immensely.
