OP SLDUCK Campfire Regular S Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 1,127 Likes: 1	I just bought a Thomas & Thomas Emerger 5 weight 9 ft 2 piece rod. I have not recieved yet. Does anyone here have this rod and if so what your thoughts are on it.

MontanaCreekHunter Campfire Outfitter M Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 13,358 Florence, Montana	It is a very good rod in a lower price range then their top of the line rods. It is a Med/Fast action rod. The only thing I don't like is that is a 2 piece, as this makes it harder to travel with and hiking backcountry. Other then that its is a fine rod for the price. Eat Fish, Wear Grundens, Drink Alaskan.
