Has anyone heard whether this show will continue? They are still showing last seasons hunts and their website does not indicate anything about a 7th season.

I've sent an e-mail of inquiry but don't know if they will bother to reply.

I've also found the new hours of play not to be nearly as convenient (for me) as they were previously.

What does everyone think of the new owners of the show (the brothers)? Personally I am not too impressed.

It won't hurt my feelings if it is gone.I normally prefer to watch Canadian outdoor shows, but this was one that I never really enjoyed.

I tried to watch a couple shows this year, pretty painful. The two brothers hunting whitetails (around North Bay I think) were a joke, a bad imitation of some of the worst the states has to offer on tv.

Canada in the Rough?? Kind of a joke if you ask me...sleeping in fancy digs, with chefs cooking at your table...not my kind of Canada in the Rough.

Isn't almost all TV in general pretty lame/stupid? We haven't had cable for over 20yrs. Don't watch it.

Wouldn't a hunting show is a bit more interesting then the rest of the crud offered on cable/sat?

I haven't spoken with any of the Beasleys since the beginning of my hunting season, but they gave me no indication they were planning to collapse the show. They paid good money for it, and I can't imagine them walking away.

There are certain economic problems in getting the show on the air (Wild TV) at preferred times that I won't go into, But they'd like more exposure and better broadcast times as well.

Pigeon is still largely involved in the programming, and the show still reflects his philosophy/concepts.

The Beasleys are farm country hunters who are learning to adapt to wilderness hunting methods on the fly. I really enjoyed the footage of Keith's BC moose hunt from last year - I believe it was either the largest or second largest taken in the province that year..

I enjoy the big game shows, and I think that any weaknesses in the show will be soon overcome if they haven't been already.

Hunting is Exciting! Bolt actions are BORING!!!

Don't mix the two!

As a follow up I sent an e-mail to the show and got a response from Paul. He asked for comments about what wasn't liked and any suggestions I might make.

I responded with some of the things I don't like. Nothing real serious and some of it maybe related to my age and my personal quirks.

Apparently the Season 7 shows will not start till Jan. 2011 so this explains why nothing could be found altho why they haven't included a comment to this effect to their webpage I don't know.
