I have a build I'm starting in January so I'm selling this rifle to offset some of the cost. All the metal is in like new condition with no marks or damage to the crown. Everything on this rifle is original except it has a Timney trigger installed and an aluminum floor plate as can be seen in the pics.

22" tube. Weight is 7.5 lbs with rings on my scale. Rifle holds 3 rounds down. I have about 100 rounds down the tube and I am not the original owner. The rifle is spotless and in near mint condition.

I took a couple of Crylon rattle cans to the black stock a while ago. I'll ship in a box, not a Ruger box.

It shoots very well. Sorry I don't have any target pics to post.

I had it shooting 140 AB's and 150 NBT's quite well.

Is it unusual that the barrel is 22" rather than 24"? I thought most all magnums were 24". This is a sweet little gun. If it had a 24" barrel, I would have to sell my first born and purchase it.

The factory length on the 7saum and the 300saum was 22". I don't know why Ruger opted to go that route.

I'm still looking for a donor action. Remington 700 7mm Rem Mag action with tube is where I'd like to start. SS or CM.

I would not be concerned in the least with the 22" pipe on that rig.

Somebody needs to grab this.

I roll with a 22" on my 7saum. Standard on the M7's..

The 7SAUM is grossly underrated.

Have you measured the barrel? It looks like it does have a 24" barrel in the pics. Also, I thought the 22" short actions came in right at 7 lbs...

I'll take a picture with the barrel length as measured with a tape and the weight as seen on my digital scale after work tonight.
