My first buck... a nice eight point whitetail from middle Georgia. So what is the best looking antler mount kit? I don't mind spending since I'm not forking out big money for a shoulder mount. Thanks!

Thanks! First congratulations! As to your question, why not do a European skull mount instead? No kit needed, just some hydrogen peroxide from the drugstore and some washing soda as a degreaser when you boil the skull..

Thanks!
Antlers got cut off at the deer processor. So only a small skull cap and horns remain, boiled and drying out in the house. Need a nice antler mount kit.

There are several kits to plaque the antlers on the market, but a real taxidermist will do a better job than the kit and most don't charge that much to do it. $100 will get a real nice plaque mount job around here, that'd be the way I'd go.

I've seen antler kits at cabelas and used similar ones, they work just fine IMO

I'm more than happy with the kit I got from these folks. Mine is the walnut. http://www.matuskataxidermy.com/supply.html

I went with a kit from WASCO (Wildlife Artist Supply Co) at www.taxidermy.com. Looks to be a complete kit and nice.
