Camp is where you make it.

Best of luck again Ryan. Let us know when you find out.
I am out of order until further notice. My "stupid people" filter needs cleaning and my "give a damn" batteries have run out.

package deal though, the Ex has to go too, so I'm paying to move her down there and get her set up with a place (that she will pay for).

you'll be able to go ANYWHERE you want to now.

I can get back into the woods west of the camp driveway down by the gate and haul firewood from all that dead standing tamarack back there. It would be a shame to let it just fall & rot back there. But it's so hard to get to, was so hard to get to.

I am thinking there is a parade in its future too. Maybe adorned with a swamp squid or flying bear that it squished...? Verrry nice though Dave. I think deep down, all real men want to have one of these. Well, all real men that live up north where there is snow. Both of the real men that live down south have no need for one.

thats exactly where I was thinking too, thin the brush out a little bit, maybe dig a small channel to lower the water table just enough, plant a small food plot, leave the brush along the road so its enclosed, put Pams stand on the east side and when she gets a nice buck opening morning, she will forget about the new machine you bought and encourage you to get whatever you want from here on out hey, it works in my head, why not in real life? there is a lot of good tamarack out there ripe for the picking if nothing else

you bet I am. lowering the water table a few feet so it can support vegetation that benefit wildlife isn't a bad thing. especially since the land as it sits right now isn't beneficial to many plants and animals. there are pretty much a handful of species of plants, and few animals. not enough water for ducks, and too "boggy" for travel of other larger animals. too open for grouse. there is a lot of area like that up there, and plenty of cover. food is the limiting factor. if I get the job, this is exactly what I will be doing, managing land for the benefit of wildlife, primarily huntable wildlife.

One thing to keep in mind with the Tucker is that it is not a dozer. Our snomo club had one a few years back and the operators, er I mean drivers that tried using it as a dozer wound up breaking something.
