VAnimarod, the Marlin is a 1893 in 30-30, nice rifle that has the sweetest trigger around, definitely not a lawyer trigger!
I was going to go looking in the pawnshops today for some unfound treasures but it was raining so hard that I wasn't sure if I should take the truck or the boat. I'll be out tomorrow on the hunt. I did see the other day what I believe to be an EG that was D/T, sling swivels added?, missing the rear sight, original finish with a blemish on the stock,300 Sav, ser.#600,000 I believe for $239.00 and I know he would take $200.00 or less out the door for it seeing how I bought an EG in 250-3000 from him for $250.00 out the door. It would make a nice shooter for someone.
