We leave for tucker sno cat acquisition today.

If you're driving through WI, you might need it to get home. Big snows hitting tonight. Up to 12" south of the Cities.

You from Stevens Point Griz? Did you happen to see the pic in the local paper of a sunset that a small plane pilot took while in flight from MN to Stevens Point on Thanksgiving weekend?

Edit - I just went and checked and it was in the portage county gazette.

Yes, I'm in Stevens Point Rooster. Didn't see the picture as I was still in Deer Camp.

If anyone talks to Dave tell him he can stay at our place if the weather gets too bad. Now they're concerned about high winds Saturday afternoon into Sunday. Could be a wild ride.

I'll shoot him a text. The reason I ask if you seen the pic or not is because I spent Thanksgiving with that pilot that took the pic. My wife and I spent turkey day in Deerwood, MN (by Brainerd) with friends and we had to go pick him up at the little airport by Brainerd on Thanksgiving Day. He is the brother of our friend and is from Stevens Point as well.

Dave replied to my text about staying at your house if the weather gets too bad Griz.

He said "Right on. We are at Bemidji ground round right now. Will make Duluth tonight."

Oh there's a Chickenbuck scent alright! You don't want that in any candles though. You might want the candles to cover it up. laugh

Too accurate a description. In the Twin Cities this week I saw four workers on a road project. One was in the hole digging with a shovel. The other three were standing on the road surface leaning on their shovels. There were three separate vehicles with flashing lights blocking two lanes of traffic while their drivers were leaning on their shovels watching. Traffic was backed up since only one lane was open due to the empty vehicles with the flashing lights. I think this was a state project but it might have been a city or county project. Surely tzone does not have the patience to just stand and watch! Congrats on the new job tzone.
