I am selling this Military 30.06 ammo for a friend. The man has terminal brain Cancer (glioblastoma).
From the little bit of research I have done I think this is priced to sell.
I am selling the whole lot, 684 rnds of ammo, and the crate it came in.
There are 11 bandoleers, each bandoleer contains 60 rnds. Each pocket in the bandoleer has (2) 5 rnd stripper clips in a cardboard container.
In addition to the 11 bandoleers, there are 2 stripper clips with 5 rnds each and one stripper clip with 2 rnds. Plus there is an open box of 10+ of a different 30.06 cartridge.
$500. Takes it all.
Portland/ Hillsboro Oregon area. I do not seem to be able to post photos without the dreaded red X
Pm Me with email address and I will send you the pictures,if interested.
Bob

Now $300 for everything
I will sell a bandoleer for $30, and who ever buys the last one gets the can and crate for free.
Remember there is no profit here! His Chemo was more than $150 per pill. Bob

You guy's are causing me to learn a lot more about this stuff than I ever wanted to know The headstamp says 43 TW This means that it was manufactured in 1943 at the Twin Cities Ordnance Plan in Minnesota. The Twin Cities Ordnance Plant (TCOP) was established in 1941 as part of the War Departments government-owned, contractor-operated war materials production program. Federal Cartridge Corporation (FCC) was awarded the contract to construct and operate the plant, which resided in Mounds View Township (later apportioned as the cities of Arden Hills, Mounds View, and New Brighton) and whose mailing address was New Brighton, Minnesota. Construction began August 28, 1941, and production of .30 and .50 caliber cartridges began on February 2, 1942. TCOP produced more than four billion rounds by wars end and at its peak (July 1943) employed approximately 26,000 peoplemore than half of whom were women.I will be taking it to the Portland Gun Show on the 17Th if it doesn't sell soon.
