Thank you all for the kind words. My 16 year old son David who was only about 150 yards away honestly deserved this buck more than Rene as Rene would have been happy with any little forkhorn that would have come stumbling along. But as we all know the word "deserve" has no relevance in the sport of hunting. I could hardly tell her she couldn't shoot that buck because she hasn't paid her dues yet As for the mount, she says she just wants to have the horns mounted. She told me, "I don't want those glass eyes looking at me the rest of my life" And LBK: I think we all have a human side to us when it comes to our kids
