Hang tough Ryan. There's still a good chance that you got the job.

Heat wave, a real scorcher! I had 1 degree above zero this morning! I thought my face was going to melt off on my way from the house to the truck. I got the AC going in the truck as soon as I got it running.

Suppose to get up to 10 degrees this afternoon, the kids wanted to know if they could run thru the sprinklers after school...

Well, I have finally finished reading this thread all 1000+ pages. Around the end of Oct and just before deer season, I was reserching for a deer rifle and was very interested in the savage 99. An internet search pointed me to the savage collector forum here on the 24 hour campfire. I also surfed around the other forums and stumbled on "birth . . .". Once I started reading I couldn't stop (just like a good book). Thanks all, for the many weeks of entertainment and the assurance that I am not alone in thinking that outdoor activities can be a modern and family friendly pursuit. db

76? Avove or below the zero?? Above, kind of a warm one for this time of year. Then another cold front comes on down from the north. One things for sure, we don't get to play with snow machines. Used to swim and ski on one of the lakes hooked to Leech lake. Where I learned to water ski in fact. Big flying bugs up there for sure.

The campfire forums here have been very useful for me over the years when researching various topics. I often just post a question out there looking for input and opinions and wow, you can always find a couple actual experts for every topic here. I hope you stick around & rub elbows a bit. Welcome to the campfire. Dave
