I am sure that this is a regular topic but I am new to the forum so I will float it again. I am looking for 2 archery land owner tags for New Mexico elk. I would like a good opportunity at taking a bull in the 275" plus range with the possibility for larger bulls. I am interested in a DIY or semi outfitted hunt. I know that this is a big topic but this is my first time to try New Mexico so I would welcome any advice, help or benefit of experience from someone who has done it before.

After the draw you will see a lot of these for sale in the paper and on the internet. If you want a specific area and don't see anything advertised, check the Game and Fish site and get the list of outfitters in that unit/area and contact them individually. Most outfitters here have access to a variety of tags.
