Considering the scope comes with, hard to go wrong there.. Classic LH in .35 Whelen... Stock is excellent, condition seems to be similar.. LH M70s normally sell high anyway - but add the scope.... ?

I bet it's gone before the end of the auction.. Unless the Christmas crunch keeps it alive..

Found another - and not many of these were made: 7mm STW LH M70 classic..

Is that an aftermarket pad on the STW Redneck? My LH M70 338 WM had the stupid 1/4" butt pad and that thing liked to have beat me to death from the bench. It has since found a new home. That 35 Whelen would be nice, wonder what make the barrel is?

I looked at the same thing and wondered about it.. I've seen different pads on various M70s, but I think that one's not original..

However, by the picture, whoever did it did a fine job.. I wonder what the LOP is? If it's 14"+, then the stock wasn't cut for the pad.. Which is good..

That's still a darn good price for a LH M70 7mmSTW in that condition..

I think I've run across the DRGS before too and IIRC, the experience was a good one..

added: I just checked.. The auction ended.. Somebody bought that rifle already.. I knew it wouldn't last..

I'm pretty sure I bought a Savage ML from that gun shop a few years back and was a good transaction.

Damn Road gun shop is reputable. No issues that I know of.

I might just drive over there and check out that bad boy.
