I may be splitting hairs here, I have a large ring small thread Turk and a small ring Mexican both 98's. I was wondering how many ounces the actions differ in weight. I am going to make a featherweight rifle out of one of them in 25-06. The Mexican is already barreled with a heavy 25-06 barrel, I am trying to decide weather to pull it apart or not. If I do the heavy barrel will prolly eventually end up on the Turk. Thanks in advance for your replies

Would that include bottom metal and trigger?
