My daughter bought me a Savage 99A in 250 Savage for X-mas. Hope somebody here can help me with some info. Model 99A, tang safety, cartridge counter , ser#: B98xxxx. I would like to know the date of manufacture.

late model A's were made from 1971 thru 1982. Others around here can.
