heck, it is a sweltering 3.8 degrees here right now. Might take the laptop outside to get some fresh air.

Jeremy got home from snowmobiling this morning. Now he is busy moving snow. Here he is making the sidewalk wider.
I am out of order until further notice. My "stupid people" filter needs cleaning and my "give a damn" batteries have run out.

A good wife would have had that done for him and a hot cup of soup waiting when he came through the door. duck and cover, duck and cover.

Wow and I get to start a new page. I am located in Northwest PA about 2 miles from Lake Erie, and we never get to drive on the ice.

We should have a quiz to see how much people remember about the exploits of the 'buckaroos. For example:
Name at least 2 methods ND has used to harvest a grouse.
What happened to Muffy at the 2009 deer season campfire?
How many dresses has Tzone been seen wearing? (okay, I made that one up!)
-4 here now, I bet it is really cold up nort.

Welcome TopGunBill! Takes dedication or a really boring/flexible job to read what we have to yack about! I showed my buddy the thread one night and he has since read the whole thing in a couple of weeks while at WORK. He wants to sign up but is toooooooo much of a wussy! Muffy knows him. Maybe she can get him to garner the courage? Big Dan? Are you a man or are you a mouse?

BTW...for you water wolf hunters on LOW. I got a first hand report from a Sunday - Tuesday trip last week.
Ice really jagged from a goofy freeze. Wierd shards of 1/2" thick jagged ice floating up the holes for 3 days in a row. On a side note. 21 fish caught over 10 lbs including a 45" 24 lber, 19 lb, 18 lb, couple of 17's and the rest were below those weights.
He said the fish even had ice in their mouths.
Strange huh?

My dad would LOVE to go up there and catch some of those. We have talked about it, but dont really know where to start and that is one honkin' big lake. Maybe someday we can figure it out. Biggest he has caught through the ice is maybe 10 lbs.
