You know their TV commercials, the ones featuring the ditsy actress all dressed in white. What you might not know is that the Chairman of Progressive is Peter Lewis, one of the major funders of leftist causes in America.

Between 2001 and 2003, Lewis funneled $15 million to the ACLU, the group most responsible for destroying what's left of Americas Judeo-Christian heritage.

Lewis also gave $12.5 million to MoveOn.org and American Coming Together, two key propaganda arms of the socialist left.

His funding for these groups was conditional on matching contributions from George Soros, the America-hating socialist who is the chief financier of the Obama political machine.

Lewis made a fortune as a result of capitalism, but now finances a progressive movement that threatens to destroy the American free enterprise system that is targeting television shows on Fox News.

Peter Lewis is making a fortune off of conservative Americans (who buy his auto insurance) that he applies to dismantle the very system that made him wealthy. He's banking on no one finding out who he is, so, STOP buying Progressive Insurance and pass this information on to all your friends.

I give my money to GEICO. They have a better price by far than any of the rest for me and I've recently tested them.

They came through with flying colors...

They will be getting my money until I have a reason not to.

Plus they have funny TV commercials.

I remember when GEICO was limited to what the name stood for Government Employees Inurance Company. They only insured federal employees. kotzy

Texas Farm Bureau. The couple of times they have owed me they paid off like a slot machine with no games played.

The one time I owed them they fought the people suing me to a stand still.

I wouldn't use Progressive or GEICO either one. State Farm for 30+ years has been good.

State Farm ever since I could drive. I stayed with them after someone front-ended me on the highway.

I wasn't hurt and my brother wasn't hurt, but my Cherokee was totaled.

State Farm, without any input on my part, got me enough money to get a much better vehicle (said Cherokee was an '85 and this was in 1995 or so), and a couple grand for the inconvenience of not having a vehicle for a week.

Incidentally, the woman driving the Camaro that hit me broke her knee and danged near lost her life as my Cherokee climbed onto the Camaro and just missed her windshield.

Teach her to gun it on the ice. I still find it irritating to think about.

I had Geico -they will give you a good price then slowly creep up and up in price even if you have no tickets and receive no tickets.

Wow long time with one company. As much as you paid over the years you should own at least 1/2 the company.

Hey - wait a minute - I thought the rich guys were Republicans!

USAA. Not the company they were 25 years ago when I started but still the best I've seen.

That is a fact, they always renew me and we keep the same coverage on the old trucks as long as we keep em. New company's don't want to write full coverage on 8-10 year old vehicles without whacking ya REAL good.
