You might try to find contact info for Cecil Freidl in Las Vegas, Steve Heilman has blanks for sale, and there are others. Most of the high end gunmakers either have a few blanks they have hand picked for quality or they can guide you to someone who has decent wood. You may pay a little (or alot) more but you'll have an experts opinion on the quality of the blank.

English walnut, AA grade would be fine and it needs to be 43-44" long for my FS.
