I have had two different brands of trail cams and they both quit working at temperatures below freezing. I have even hooked then up to a larger 12v motorcycle battery and they still won't operate as it gets cold. Any of you finding a camera that will operate consistently down to 10 degrees or so?

Try lithium batteries if you can. You are having better luck than me. My last camera didn't just quit working when it got cold - it disappeared

When it is cold, especially at night my pictures are bad. I was wondering if I was the only one have that problem since my Camera is a 80 dollar special. I always wondered if the high dollar ones did any better in cold weather.

This one (I have 4 just like it) shuts off in hot weather and Primos told me that I needed to use the lithium batteries but I never bothered because they're so expensive. In cold weather I've had no problems and have a couple photos down to 12 degrees. Here he is in daylight... So far he hasn't figured out how to get at the feeder... $bob$
