Anybody heard of Concord brand and would a brick of 70's vintage CCI Stingers, in the box which flips up for display, be of much value (original price is $2.49 per box).

Are any of you folks collectors of 22 ammo? Years ago at a garage sale, I bought a pristine box of Clinton brand BLACK POWDER .22LR ammo. Rather colorful box, and ammo inside in very nice condition. Have always sort of wondered what it might be worth. Thanks. Russ

Boots, I can remember seeing the ammo you describe when I was much younger. There used to be some great ammo displays in the hardware stores and service stations! Russ

I have a partial box of old & original Winchester X-Peditor hyper-velocity 22's. Compared to CCI Stingers and Rem Yellow Jackets, X-Peditors were better. In my experience, the Winchesters were the most accurate and the most explosive terminal ballistics of the 3 hyper vel brands.
I hear they are making it again. I hope the new stuff is as good as the original.

Don't realy want to steal a thread but I took a class today for construction workers on how poisonus lead can be. I'm afraid the way it is going, when they ban lead ammo your .22 bullets might be a good investment.

Russ Anyone remember the wooden Remington display case from the days of the red and green boxes that had the flip-up glass front with a little locking lever in the back?
