These are very good accurate rifles and that is a deal. Get it before they change their mind on the price.

Good deal and a good rifle, but if it's not what you're looking for then what's the point... As for me personally, I have NEVER bought a gun I didn't need just because it was a good deal...:)
TC Then you are not a rifle loony! I bought rifles because I had a 1/2 box of shells laying around. Reminds me of me. I bought a .22 magnum because I had a box of shells. I couldn't even think of throwing or giving them away.

I bought a rifle because I found some brass and needed a rifle to use it in... then didn't use the brass I found.
This is a shooting forum, there is no place here for logic.

I picked up my blue .300WBY Vanguard at WallyWorld a few years back for $379, and it has a very nice wooden stock. Even I can shoot 180gr factory loads in 1 1/4". Great rifles.
FWIW, I also have three Syn Howas. Two of them are SS.
