Here is a closeup of the action It uses a Sako type extractor. Here is a link to John's prices: http://www.pierceengineeringltd.com/services.phpI handled a couple of John's rifles last year and the smoothness of the action really got my interest. I then met a couple of tactical competitive shooters and saw some of their targets and I had to have one. There a probably many accuracy gunsmiths who do similar work, but for me to be able to support a local guy in Michigan is important. There are way too many talented tool and die men who have had to leave the state and it is exciting to find someone who has found a niche and is making good. 405wcf

Here is 405 wcf at the Michigan get together shooting that beautiful new rig of his: That thing, with no load development at all, was kickin' out groups I'd be happy with at 100 yards but he was shooting at 300! Nice rig!!

Congrats on a fine looking and great shooting rifle. Looks like that one is a keeper. If you don't mind my asking, how long for the build? Just wondering what his wait times are on work. Thanks

Wow, nice stick you got there. Can't beat that turn around time, I am still waiting on one project that started three years ago.

Great blueprint. My next is likely to be very similar. Awesome rig!
