Remington ADL? #4852937 01/23/11 Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 242 rusty25 OP Campfire Member OP rusty25 Campfire Member Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 242 Just looking for some input on the quality of the ADL line of model 700s. Any bad experiences? Academy has them listed for $350 for pretty much any standard caliber. Was thinking of picking one up just for the heck of it at that price.

They have all been good shooters and functionally flawless. The best deal my Academy has going right now is a Stevens 200 in 7mm08 for $189 Last edited by PaulBarnard; 01/23/11.

I've had a couple over the years, took a good bull elk with one. I'd take a 700 ADL, no problem. Looks like a great price.

I hate opening the bottom metal to drop the shells out when all I have to do is short cycle them out just as easily and I can grab every one without dropping any. .

Sprotsmans Warehouse and Dicks were selling the same rifle in stainless for about $100 more. I already have more rifles than I need, or I'd have a couple of those. Most people don't really want the truth. They just want constant reassurance that what they believe is the truth.
