I wonder if you would set your shirt on fire if you did a quick draw and fired from the hip?

Saw a guy shooting an RG revolver at the range one time. If he needed to adjust the shot left or right he would turn the barrel. Now that's engineering.

this one has my vote also..

a friend had TWO that would NOT chamber, new out of the box, Remington FACTORY ammo.

Real POS's...

While folks rag on the A Bolts, I have 3 of the first series of them, and they have been excellent rifles.. very accurate, each and every one..

I prefer a Model 70 tho, I'll admit.. but that wasn't the OPs question.

The 36" barreled, H&R buffalo gun I want to have made in 25 ACP for New Yorks 22 or larger, centerfire deer season.

I am surprised that nobody else thought remingtons electric rifle was a flop....can't buy bullets, can't work without batteries, can't get components to make your own bullets...that aside, it was a sweetie.

can an e-tronix rifle be converted to conventional?

They use regular .224" bullets, conventional powders and cases, the only difference, really is the Etronix primers, and they were still available, last time I looked. Something like $110/1000, but still available.

As far as batteries go, look at all the crap folks hang onto pistols and M-4s these days, lasers and dot sights, etc. If they can keep up with all the batteries for those, the single 9v used in an Extronix is pretty easy to keep up with.

I don't want one, never owned one, and wouldn't have one, but I don't think you gave them a fair shake.

Yup. It is a two step process.

1. Sell the Etronix.
2. Use the money to buy a different rifle.

Works every time and probably the fastest, easiest and cheapest way. Perhaps the only way, I don't know.

No, I'm not a Ruger bigot - just an unabashed fan of their revolvers, M77's and #1's.

If I recall correctly, the crew was supposed to dig a hole before firing as the thing had an atomic warhead.

Only worse I can imagine is a neuclear handgrenade.

Remington's Viper .22 rifle no doubt deserves a mention here, POS is a compliment, when describing that one.
