Rig Rag? Not disposable, but doesn't need to be, just put it in a ziploc.

What is a rig rag?
I'm thinking the paper towel is going to leave lint. I guess I've never tried it. Will do.
I'm planning to use Eezox.

RIG = Rust Inhibiting Grease The company that made RIG either went out of business a few years ago and sold the name or came back. Not sure on details, but something along those lines. RIG was (is?) a great long term storage option.

Yeah, you can buy the oil wipes several different places. I use them and like them.

Worried about a little lint? You've got to be kidding....... If you're going to DIY something you might as well do it right. Why do it wrong? Doesn't take much more effort. For the record, not worried about it, the guns will be fine but I don't want lint on my firearms. Tom

After doing some searching around I pretty sure I'm going to switch over to a brush. Something like this: http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=375777Anybody using one of these? How do you store it when not in use? Tom

Coldbore,
Not looking for long term storage. Just looking to put some oil on my guns every so often. Just don't want to be at the mercy of the disposable gun wipe offerings. I want to use higher quality stuff.
I'm going with the barber brush.

Hope a real problem don't pop up Maybe a silicon cloth and some spray silicon as needed, kept in it's zip-lock bag? I have and use the Rig Rag, Sheepskin with Rig grease that stores in a zip lock...check Brownells.
