Hey guys ,

Buying a cz 22lr for target shooting and small game.
Just wondering if there is a subsonic brand of ammo that 'usually' shoots well in a cz ?
Just trying to get some good ammo without buying and testing so much.
Must be subsonic.
Thanks

...don't buy Remington...everything else seems to shoot anywhere from well to outstanding.

Recently have been shooting a brick of Aguila Subsonic that was given to me by someone with a 10/22 that it didn't shoot well in. From one of the 28" guns the report is less than an airgun and all the rounds will hit a 1" patch at 50 yards...

Wolf Match Target isn't awfully expensive, and gets high marks over on RFC. I've personally shot some in my 455 and watched it go downrange, so I'm pretty sure it's 'subsonic enough' for your needs/wants. My 455 likes Winchester subsonics pretty well, and doesn't puke when I shoot CCI Subsonics, either.
Try to find the Wolf MTs first, then the WWSS, and see which your rifle likes better. The WW stuff is about 60% the price of the Wolf stuff, and shoots a bit better in MY rifle. Your rifle will probably disagree with mine, that's rimfire for you.

Most all "Target" ammo is subsonic. CCI subsonic shoots real well as the mention Wolf MT out of all
my CZs. The one thing with CCI is the bolt is stiff when closing because the bullet is forced into
the lands/grooves.

cool

Order a brick of SK Subsonic HPs from someone like Champion Shooters or the like. You will not be sorry. My CZ .22s love it. Pricey but very accurate.

Aguila 40gr Subsonic, not the 60gr SSS stuff.

Very accurate and consistent lot to lot.

Wolf Match Extra worked well but that was when it was $10 brick. It's good ammo, just got too expensive.

711B and CCI SV shoots well in mine.

Federal Lightning from walmart shoots crazy good, way out there even, though it's not subsonic.
