That is quite a list of things not to care about. Too many to remember, so I thought about what is left that you could care about. I could only think of two things, getting laid and going hunting. DT that's funny! Skane yeah you can add those in as well....I wouldn't mind if DRT was like....this "super rare" occurence..........appearing as often as Haley's Comet....

LOL!!! Found myself nodding in agreement with a great many items on your list! Few more come to mind... One, or maybe even two ounces of weight savings via aluminum rings and bases vs steel. Ballistic reticles. Back up iron sights on a scoped rifle. "AI" anything. (This one was worth repeating!)

I'm pretty sure the critter getting shot with the 24" barreled 270 wouldn't have known the difference had it been 22" instead. I highly doubt the extra 50-100 fps would be noticed.
And I'm absolutely sure that the 2 extra inches of barrel have never felt like a handicap at all and the extra 100fps sure isn't a handicap either.

Your post is of little interest.
I care about all of those things on your list.
You remind me. I need to go to the dump and get rid of the trash and work on the garage door.
Its Monday Bob. Go to work.

Its Monday Bob. Go to work. Interesting...all of about, 10 minutes ago you were doing the same thing he was--you're an idiot. Interesting post by the way...I catch my self from time to time, shaking my head at many of the items on your list! B8

Don gets a little touchy when one brings up the new Mod.70 safeties. Scratched his thumb on one when they first came out and it was rather traumatic at the time.

Bob,
My list would be different than yours, but who cares?
Enjoyed reading your list, and most of the other posts.
Except, of course, for what's-his-name. His name should be "The Dumpster".

This is my list....yours may vary and be completely opposite to mine...which is perfectly OK because I'm not looking for consensus of opinion....nor an argument. And this is mostly regarding hunting rifles, not target nor varmint shooting....YMMV. This is mostly stuff I lose no sleep over, don't lust after,or won't use,ie don't care much about..... ........................ ........ ... Sure I'll think of more......
