Rifle started out as a NIB 700 ADL. Barrel and stock were new take-offs from an original 700 Ti 270 win. Barrel has been properly headspaced and was bead blasted after installation. I should note that the factory markings do not line up and are now under the stock. Bolt was sent to Kampfeld for Ti fluting and the factory trigger was worked to a crisp 2.75 lbs. Factory plastic trigger guard was replaced with an aluminum unit.
I got this from another member here two years ago and that is about as long as I can stay interested in a rifle for some reason. Its a great rifle and Ill probably regret it but its time to try something else. Has some minor marks on it from hunting like any rifle thats been in the field.
Looking for a 7STW, 300 RUM,7mmRUM, or a 270 WSM. If you have something to trade throw it at me the worst I can say is no.

Good price, good snag for a great rifle.

I will be sending off my bolt to Kampfeld soon.

Congrats!

Funniest part is, about a month ago I was thinking about that rifle and wanted to contact the buyer to see if they had any thoughts of selling it, but couldn't remember who bought it. Tried a search, but the search function only goes back a year. Couldn't believe it when I opened the add and about broke my fingers typing!

This what you were looking for?

All you have to do is change the search date range to older than 1 year, or 2, or 3 etc. Putting in older than one year will not find all posts older than one year but only those between one and two years old. It will only return a year's worth of posts at the most so you have to return to the search page and work your way back a year at a time. Hope that helps.

And they say you can never go back...grin.

Good snag....

or poor decision in selling it the first time, or...

I'm not sure what to say, except that I would have been likely to try to figure out how to buy it if I had seen it in time!

Looks like a very nicely set up rig!
