Buschy, I know Brett. He has been at Thorne Bros a long time. I am picking up a custom Thorne Bros G Loomis summer rod for our banquet tomorrow. Unbelievable what Lonnie can paint on one. He does a rooster head for us and it is better than most of the prints you see out there....and he does it on a fishing rod!
Happy Anniversary Pam and Dave. Dave, you married up. I know the feeling!
3 year old twin boys update: Wyatt ran around the house with a Costco sized bag of finely shredded cheese leaving a trail across our recently washed floor...squealing like only a 3 year old can. Hunter? He was walking in it like he was kicking a pile of leaves!
Cole update: No cancer on his most recent scan. He has hair and is back to being a little boy! He still has a few years before he is out of the woods, but so far so good!
What you do today is important, you are trading a day in the rest of your life for it.

I do have the OK from the Mrs. though. Trouble is, she likes the shiney ones. The shiney ones cost a lot more. I'm looking for bang for the buck... If I got a used Ranger, it would be older than I'm looking for, at the price I'm willing to give, maybe. See where I'm going here?
I did find a 2004(or 5)Lund 2025 for a good price. I was going to look at it today, but it sold over the weekend. That was a nice boat too.... Walk through windshield, Yamaha 225 and a t-8 kicker....Arrrgh arrgh aarrrgh.
FWIW I hate walk through windshields, they take up too much room...Besides, I drive so I have a windshield, what do I need another one for...grin
Thanks everybody, here's a little tip though... Don't go have your taxes done on your anniversary. With the changes and sneaky tweaks the kenyan carter and team have made... Well, lets just say we had a down year income wise but the gov somehow needs quite a bit more from us than they ever needed before.
Thanks everyone! Boy looking back the past 19 yrs sure flew by, and I have to say it's all good. My motto is "always an adventure" because it always seems like there is SOMETHING.

Happy Anniversary Dave and Mrs. Dave...
If the boat is big enough, I don't mind the walk-through. It is nice for the March-May stuff, and the windy days on the big water. I do want dual consoles no matter what though. Plus, the Mrs. wants it if we can get it.
Step dad has a Lund Explorer 1700 with a WT, and it is OK. With 3 guys it would be tight.
