Cool! Where is it?

National Gun Show is in Chantilly, VA this weekend as well. Sold out to well over 2000 vendor spaces. I'll likely drop in. Anyone else?

Hope you're leaving early, the traffic gal this morning was advising everyone to expect delays in the area the next 4 days.

And unfortunately, work keeps getting in the way of me attending.

For anyone who likes Cooper rifles, check out the Hendershots display. I went Monday and wished I bought some extra cash.

I spent the day there today. The crowd was not too bad but it really started to fill in aound 3:30-4:00pm. I'm looking for a bear hunt somewhere. It has been about 10 years since I've been to this show. I enjoyed my time. Hart barrels had a booth if the looneys are interested.

BTW: The parking lot at the show building was packed by 10:30am. The local Bass Pro has free parking and free shuttle plus they are selling tickets for $11 vice $13 at the door. The on-line price is $12.

HAVE FUN!

Thanks---I have a couple of days off before my overseas trip. I might just run up that way. Any suggestions on a close-by cheap hotel?

Thanks again!!

Probably not going to make it this year, not quite recovered enough from my back surgery to make the trip plus spend the day.

Think i am going to try the Nations Gun show in Chantilly. That might be about all I can handle right now.

I went. I booked an elk bow hunt at the peak of the rut for 2013 in Western Colorado. I went in 2009 opening week and got a nice
6 X 5. I'm hoping for a lot more bugling this time.

Too bad they don't put their rates on their web-site, without you giving them your name etc... I'll pass tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up!

It's in Harrisburg, PA., during the week you have to park at Bass Pro Shops and take a shuttle bus over to the expo. Here is the link:

Plus, they offer the Utah Concealed Permit Course everyday!

Zeek,

They do not spam mail, when you look at their site, they enter you in for a free hunt. They have done a few and it has been a good business practice for them.

I just got off the phone with them....it was great to hear their voices!

Not making it this year. Work, the honey-do list, and a medical procedure yesterday that limits my activity levels for the rest of the week. And no weight-lifting, swimming, high speed dog walks, karate, etc., till my re-check next Friday. cry I'm off work till the 21st, but with limited activity. frown
