What's the biggest game you ever took with your Marlin 336?
What was your first reaction when you attempted to put the firing pin assembly back in the rifle? Is there anyone who never took their rifle apart?
Are there any reloaders? What COL do you use in reloading the .35 Remington? Does anyone know what the COL is on Remington factory loads? I haven't seen any in decades?

I personally dont have one. But it is on the list. The biggets game I have ever shot with one was with a buddys 30-30. Jackrabbits followed by digger squirrels. The both had pretty much the same effect upon impact.

Deer, Coyotes and Feral Hogs. A couple dogs from the neighbors that were running our horses. Made a nice saddle gun. Have the disassembly instructions for mine, not too much problem there. I am shooting Winchester 35 remingtons right now, but Remington is still on the shelves here in Colorado. My 35 remington is in a Remington 14 pump, my Marlins are 30-30 and 444 Marlin.

Well, if your talking about reinstalling the whole bolt after the first cleaning, I kept trying to put it in upside down. The way it angles (in the rear) it just seems to make more sense for pushing the hammer back.

Well, if you count the 444 as a model 336, I've taken an elk some years back with it at about 100 yards. The largest deer I've taken with it went about 200 lbs after field dressing, although it felt much heavier dragging it out. I have 30-30s, 45-70s and 35 Rems but they don't hunt like the 444 does.
Never had a problem reinstalling the bolt but I have forgotten to reinstall the ejector on occasion. Usually find them on the table after everything is put away and have to dig the rifles back out of the safe to see which one is missing a part.
