Did see 2 Mod 88's and a few 99's. Both of the 88's were in .308. They'd have to have been in .284 or .358 to get my attention.
MMmmm. I would have interest in either of those, no matter the cal. The wife and kids are gone next weekend....I'll be on the "hunt".

51? ! thats haff way to a hunnert! Lucky bugger! Ricky bobby has to figure out that he's not a "shoulder dog" We saw about 7 deer total (alive!) We hauled in more green logs than we took home in dry firewood, trying to make sure we keep the balance out there on the firewood pile. Cabin is pretty awesome but it's lonely. Pam bringing the little tractor around. And that's all the pictures I've got. It was an awesome way to spend the day, we got stuck a couple times but drove out way out. What a nice break from bitter sub zero winter.
Something clever here.

I had 49 on my truck a little bit ago so it had to be 50. It was beautiful today, sun shinning, snow melting, neighbor guy wants to buy my boat , birds chirping.... great day to play outside. Truthfully I hope it doesn't melt too fast so the folks that live in Rooster Jim's direction don't get flooded out.

Got back from our snowmobile trip to Fortune Bay Casino in Tower this afternoon. There were 22 sleds so we had 2 different groups. One was going on a longer trip up north about 240 miles round trip, and the other was just going to put on about 120 miles or so. Jeremy and I went on the long route (well it was supposed to be the long one). We got about 5 miles down the trail and Jeremy's engine locked up. His buddy Ben pulled him back to the casino. I guess it was pretty funny because Ben has a 2 1/2 inch lug track on his sled and I guess Jeremy had quite a bit of snow thrown in his face. Then 2 miles after that another sled broke a chain. So 2 down and we had not even put on 10 miles yet. One of the other guys had a major anti-freeze leak. He went through everyones water, thankgoodness we make it to Cook so he could get anti-freeze. Another sled had to change plugs. So needless to say we didn't get to make the whole trip. We put on only 116 miles. The group that was going on the shorter run put on 122 miles. It was a fun time had by all. Jeremy and Ben spent the whole day in the bar. I guess they even seen a couple shift changes with the bartenders.
I am out of order until further notice. My "stupid people" filter needs cleaning and my "give a damn" batteries have run out.

Dave, did you get the Red Ford put back together yet?
There's a sports show up in Wausau next weekend and the Madison Fishing Expo starts on the 26th.

Hey Bill,
Track down Pete if you're going to the Wausau sport show. He's taking Jack to it. Betsy and the kids will be there for the weekend.

Big gun show in Greenville,SC yesterday.I sold a lever action 30-30,bought a lever action .44 magnum, sold the .44 magnum within 2 rows for a profit.Ran across a dealer buddy who sold me a complete AR lower for $90 so I went down the row to another dealer buddy and had him fit a brand new upper to the lower.Came out of the show with a brand new AR which I have been wanting for awhile.Coyotes beware!!!

Cool Stan. I've been wanting an AR too. I don't have a big use for one, but that's never stopped me before.

I'll keep an eye out for them. Jack should be easy to spot. He'll be the only 5 year old carrying cuffs and a Taser.

Sounds like you did well Stan. The AR's just don't interest me all that much. Guess I saw to many of them in Nam.

Loud Mike strikes again.
No schit... He just stuck a butter knife in an outlet on the wall to see if there is power going to it. I heard the sizzle and asked him what he's doing. "nuttin' I just wanted to see if there's power to this outlet."
There is black marks up the wall for 2 feet.
He needs a helmet.
