I have several firsts for me today. My first winchester, my first lightweight, and my first short magnum. I purchased a m70fw, 270wsm today. Got the dmz(?) game reeper mounts/rings (annother first for me). Just waiting for scope to put on it. Will let you good folks know how she does when I can get out and stretch her legs.

I lost a bet half that size once and had to take a CRF S/S Classic 300 Whizzum in a black/white swirled McMillan Winny Classic home with me. But I always was an easy mark for black/white swirls. No experience with the DNZ's but that's a nice rifle. Looking forward to hearing how it works out for you.
Anybody who seriously concerns themselves with the adequacy of a Big 7mm for anything we hunt here short of brown bear, is a dufus. They are mostly making shidt up. Crunch! Nite-nite!

Thanks Rick. I have a couple of powders to try along with a couple of different bullets. Probably will have more by the time it is all said and done.

I have only played with one 270WSM, but if you like the TSX's, it's hard to go wrong with any weight from 130-150 and RL25. RL22 is good as well.
