I came across this on GB.. maybe others have seen. This gentleman will make you just about anything in the way of cartridge box...Anyway if you want info let me know. I had him make mine for .300 savage.

Not as much as I like, but we've got oaks. Most of it tends to be in old treelines and windbreaks where it'd been planted long ago, I'd guess.

I was wondering,i been thru Nebraska a couple times and didn't remember seeing any. Those boxes are pretty nice, someone does a nice cabinetry job. Don

Was just wondering, because I did run across a guy selling boxes that I remember as looking almost exactly like that. Probably not the same guy, or my memory sucks, was just curious.

Speaking of oaks, gonna try to get a few going on my land this spring. Need more hardwoods, and the acorns would be a nice addition.

Thats sort of what I was thinking but still a great idea just super slow growing.

Pin oaks for your enjoyment. Whites and Reds for your children and grandchildren. I have 2 Pin Oaks I planted as 5' saplings about 15 years ago. They are 30'+ now. Nice and shady in the summer, the deer, turkeys, and squirrels love the acorns in the fall.

Figure I should have another 20 years of hunting that land, and hopefully it'll be passed down to the kids later.

That writing on the end of the box would look much better in black, but I like the indian in red.
