I've been on a bit of a streak. I also got a great .308 Win that most of you knew about. I bought it from Redneck a couple months ago but picked it up a couple weeks ago.

I also had enough Gander Mt. gift cards saved up from birthdays, fathers day, and Christmas that I got a Browning Buckmark .22lr pistol for nuttin'. Can't beat that.

I want a revlover of some sort too, so now I'm saving my penny's for that. If I got it today, it would be a stainless Ruger Single Six.

What do you guys think of this?

I was thinking of planting trees in rembrance of my neiece and nephew. It might sound corny to some, but that is what I want to do.

It is something that will last longer than me, grow big, beautiful and strong, like kids were supposed to. Kaylee was so happy and colorful, full of life....was thinking of a maple of sorts for the both of them.

What say the crew?

I think that is a wonderful idea. Our friends planted one this summer in rememberance of their son.

Tom-That's a great idea. We have planted trees for each of our kids in our yard. What a great memorial to your loved ones. I can't think of a better way to remember them. It's a very personal, loving tribute, and from a selfish standpoint, one that others don't really need to know about, or wonder about. Headstones are nice, but a private, personal memorial is a great way to keep them in your lives. Do it man.

Plow truck sports a new water pump, all gear housings are up on oil, all joints greased, starter repaired from 2 broken starters... Weezy and I are thinking about going to the forest on a snow smashing mission.

So Dave texted that the 4wd went out on old Yeller. The boys and I headed out there with some allen wrenches to help. Now we are waiting for Dave to get back where we are stuck with the tractor. Yeller was blocking the road so Dave was trying to cut the corner to get back to the cabin to retreive Taylor and Ricky Bobby when we got buried. Guess no fishing tomorrow...back to get Yeller home. Really God, I think you could give us a break anytime now.
