Just saw Adm. Stufflebeam (Ret.) on Fox. His take was there's not much anyone can do until Somalia forms a real, effective government (may happen in some parallel universe). I take it that reflects the mindset of the Navy, and our Illustrious Leader, a real man of action. Sucks.

Not to diminish the earned label of incompetence that our Muslim in the White Hut has earned, but I don't care for U.S. tax dollars having to be spent protecting retards that go yachting on a mission near the most dangerous coast on the planet.

Commerce on the high seas, we have no interest? no doubt we should not be there to protect idiots going yachting but it is a major and important shipping lane that is in our interest to protect, if we save some yachters aswell so be it....

Agree on the details but put this in the larger context of protecting the sea lanes of communication which is the core role of the USN.
