I don't think it's possible to retrieve the shutter count info out of a Rebel.

Given that most cameras in that class have in excess of 50,000-75,000 shutter life
That camera cannot be more three to 5 years old doing the math,
worst case: that would be about 140 pics a day, everyday for 5 years (5 years into 50,000).

Why do so many people on this site have trouble minding their own business? If you're not the original owner, or the seller, butt out! On second thought - If you're going to buy the camera for me, you can comment about my questions. I guess it's obnoxious and unreasonable to ask the round count on any gun that's newer that 5 years old too!  Fanuke
