Winchester offers .45 gr. Value packs of forty to a pack, they work well and are fairly inexpensive. Check at Walmart.

What is the twist ? Do you want to save the hides ? What ranges do you plan to shoot at ?
Usually a 55 gr softpoint will shoot and kill well.

I prefer 50. Gr V-Max but they will be expensive if you don't reload. The .45's will be fine if you are looking for inexpensive.

Agree on the 45gr bulk pack cartridges. At the ranges you are going to be shooting they will be excellent. Nice grab on that rifle, every one I have ever heard of or owned has been extremely accurate. Good luck and good hunting.

It will be tough to save fur with a 22-250 no matter what you shoot! I just use 50 grain Blitzkings and recognize that it is gonna tear. Rifle is most likely a 14 twist. Will work with 55s and under except it might struggle with the Ballistic tips and Vmaxs at 55 grains.
have fun

Good luck to you.

If you reload try the 52 grn Sierra HPBT......accurate and fur friendly.....just remember that the closeness, the velocity and impact area of a coyote will determine pelt damage.
While I really like the 50 grn Speer TNT (it's a very accurate bullet) it is NOT fur friendly. I've had bad fur damage at 300 yards but have never lost a coyote using it. It was designed for varmints but it is deadly on coyotes.....22BR,222 Mag,Swift and 22-250.

On fur, I found that my .222 Rem. did a good job with 40 & 45 grain bullets. The 22-250 just always seemed to tear up plets unless you hit them way out in the head.
