It is evident that this chambering is fairly rare and more so in the 99R. That being said what would a fair value be for one in 80 - 85% original condition. R's in any chambering seem to be quite rare in western Canada so am looking for some opinions.

LawMan,
You are right - a .358 in an R is quite rare. I own several 99's in .358, including an R/RS. If the rifle appeals to you, I don't think you would be hurt up to $800. JMO.

Caliber will make up for the 80% condition. Jump on it, it will hold you till you find one with better condition
