Well I am thinking of maybe possible selling a savage 99. Don't want to but situations are leaving little other options. I am trying to find a way to avoid doing so. But I figure I should figure out what I could expect if it comes down to selling it.
Anyways here are the specifics. It is NIB foam box insert is a bit beat up the gun is as it came from the factory. There are a few specks in the finish of the butt stock. Looks as if there was bubbles in the finish that broke. Metal is very good besides some dried oil and a bit of dust but no flaws. It is a "brush gun" chambered in 375 winchester. I have two the other I have scoped and shot and plan to keep without question. These are the only two I have ever seen. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

one sold at in the box at RIA in the last 2 or so years... probably 75-80% of whatever that brought... you will probably get bombarded with PMs for listing it here

I was gonna post this very question! My dad just traded into a .375 brush gun that he's not really interested in keeping. I think he said it's about a 90% gun. What's a fair price for these?

I would be interested also in what the market price for on of these in either brushgun or saddlegun would be. We don't see them down here, and U.S. prices I would say for 99s in good condition are running at at least double over what we see.
I know asking prices can be a sore point here, so pm me if you choose, its nice to know values when you put your hand up at auctions, the pain is a little less

A real nice one shooter, would have thought the 375 would fetch more simply due to lesser number of years it was chambered.
Thanks Johno

Yes it took a while to sell, but the it went to a serious collector so it was worth the wait.

Saw a really nice 358 brush gun at a show last weekend. Guy was asking 1275. He took it back home with him.

375s bring more money than a 358, generally speaking...

Bought my 375 Brush gun for $650 IIRC, it's on the grey side but only the receiver, but it's also my best whitetail gun in the safe, would be the last gun to leave.
I think I got my R in 358 for 5 bills.

MD: Would those be 100 $ bills or 1000 $ bills?
