Dose anyone use these vanes? I hear that people love these shorter vanes. I asked a local bow-shop, and thy said that they haven't heard about the results when used with broadheads. But do hear good stuff about them with feild tips. Hope I spelled vanes right. Please let me know if you have heard how they perform with broadheads. Thanks CD

Try www.archerytalk.com and do a search. Those guys have a lot of info to share concerning vanes. I fletched some NAP QuikSpins for broadhead use and so far I'm very impressed. They make a bit more noise upon release but nothing to fret about. My groups tighted right up. Im gonna shoot some Muzzy 3 blade 100's at 60 yards soon to see how they do. BT53

I love them! I always try out the latest and greatest since I fletch my own arrows. I shoot 100 grain 4 blade Muzzy's and they fly great. The shorter the vane the better as far as rest clearance and crosswind resistance. I have also tried them with the 125 gr 3 blade Muzzys with the same results. They shoot as good as any other vane I have tried so that is all I shoot now.

I know this post is a bit old, but I just finished shooting both of my hunting bows with Blazer vanes and thought there might be some interest.
I found that the Blazers did as well as the Quick Spins as far as stabilization and accuracy...but when I got to 40 yards and beyond, the Blazers would hit higher on the target (flatter shooting). I then spun on some 100 gr 3 blade Muzzy broadheads. They shot right with the field points all the way out to 50 yards ( the farthest I checked em).
My Hoyt Ultratec has a drop away rest that will handle almost any fletching configuration, I shot with the cock vane down and of course they ran perfectly.
The High Country bow has a Whisker Bisquit rest and here the Blazers really shined. Good clearance between the WB and an arrow just resting on the string. (another archer tried my bow with one of his arrows and due to the short brace hight his fletch was in contact with the WB at rest) There was no damage to the Blazers through the WB at all...it was like they were designed for each other. Their also quieter by far.
The Blazers are just too easy. Im getting rid of the QSpins. BT53

The blazer vanes and the whisker biscuit do seem to be a natural fit, due to less friction. I'm going to the shop to pick up my arrows. Just had them fletched with blazer vanes. Can't wait to see how they fly with the biscuit. I'm hoping that my slick tricks are also in. Just about ready for the new season.
