D2 and Lace Maple EDC

Like this style and The lace Maple really came to life with a little finish. This one feels good in the hand...

It looks good...nice scales too. Were you inspired by the Winston's? It looks like their Little EDC?

A little bit of David and Jason's influence, a little bit of Gene's and a little of my own. I actually started these blades before I ever got one of their little EDC's, although I have 2 now. This is a little bigger than Dave and Jason's EDC and has a little more belly. Sort of a blend of things I like in a knife. I've done smaller and larger and am gonna be working on my own rendition of the whole double whammer concept that Gene offers.

These are all in various stages of completion. The two on the left are the same size as this one...

Those are all very decent looking blades. They have very functional shapes.

A knife maker never makes a mistake, he is just working on another prototype.

Agreed!

All look great, but the one on the right in your second post really stands out. That one looks like it will be extremely handy.

Thanks guys. My biggest problem is I keep coming up with new ideas and it ain't exactly cheap what with all the supplies. Not to mention all the leather stuff and so on, but hey one of these days I might sell one to pay for some of this if I ever find one I don't like.

I'm kinda partial to the skinner blade as well. In fact, I'm really happy with my little whapper setup as it's coming around. I'll probably have to punch out another one or two of the skinner style blades just cause I like the feel so far.

It's just a crappy little 4x46. I'm hoping to get something a little nicer one day soon and see if I can really grind a blade.

Wow, you're doing quite well with that grinder I'd say! I have a Craftsman 2x42...still haven't found the guts to get a piece of steel and have at it lol.
