The gun was sold by Norm Thompson Outfitter Portland Oregon in about the 1960s. They sold them in their retail store as well as mail order Tom Burgress did the metalwork and Earl Milliron did the stock work. Looking for any info.or direction you can give and retail value as it has never been fired new condition. Thanks to all of you that can help me out.

You probably didn't mean to post this in the Optics forum, but as the owner of a very nice 60's vintage Burgess Mauser, they sound like fine guns indeed.
