Guys, I'm thinking about buying a brace of 520s (fixed sight, N-frame, .357), and wondered if anyone on the forum has had any experience with these?

Those were the ones done up for the NYSP back in the '70s? IIRC, they were basically just a M28 without adjustable sights, and bull-strong. They had the typical short cylinder of the N-frame .357s and weren't too tolerant of certain cast bullets with long noses, other than that, I don't recall hearing anything bad about them. They were weighty, but strong...
