Thanks Tom. I figure it will go between 50-53 on the gps. Childs play for the speeds the bad azz boats you like go though. grin It's a pretty heavy multi-species boat, with a deep-v hull. The bass boats are rockets but not these big heavy suckers.

I had a Ranger 692 that would go 49 consistantly. I had it up to 51mph on a perfect fall day with not much gas left in the tank. This baby will be smmmooooooth on the "walleye chop" though.

Hopefully you and that smiling boy of yours can make it up this way and I'll show you. Maybe we can get Northern Dave and his boys and hit the pond by his place.

I promise you...It ain't better than sitting in Florida. The only thing I regret is not bringing a boat with me. If I did, I may never come back. Plent of work going on here it looks like, lots of small swim suits ( on the girls...sorry rooster).

The old guys at the pool are impressed with our beer drinking. I didn't tell them about my boy in the north. I skipped telling them about muffy too, I didn't want to give 'em a coranary. grin

You can have the girls T. I'll take the WOMEN!

grin

What are you looking for Tom?

I have a 2008 20' Champion with a Yamaha 225 I'm contemplating selling! Used very little, to much time coaching and traveling with my boys playing soccer. Used it a total of 26 hours last year shocked

I've fished out of a 20' Champion Fishhunter (deep-V) and it was a nicely laid out boat. Took the chop well. I believe it had a Merc. Optimax 200 or 225 on it, can't remember and a 9.9 pro kicker. Nice boat. It went in the mid-50's which impressed me.

Raining here today, might even see snow Tuesday.

Checked out the Wolf River at Fremont, WI Saturday, Lots of ice yet on the East side and the sloughs and lakes haven't busted loose yet. Saw a couple of boats by the Fremont bridge. There were ice fisherman about 50 yards from them.

Yup! Open below the DuBay Dam too.

Heads up. There's a winter storm warning for our area starting Monday night into Wednesday. Rain, sleet, freezing rain and up to 6" of very wet snow. Sure glad it's spring. mad

Don't know if the Mnpls area is in the path, but we are.

Woo Hoo! A foot of snow on the way tomorrow. I've got the kid out putting the covers back on the snowmobiles.

Based on the forecast, I think we'll sled into the shack again this weekend. Probably be on the Rainy next week or the weekend after.

God, I love spring. Until it all catches on fire and crap.
