has any one hunted unit 3 in colorado? can a guy who knows how to use a map and a gps find deer on the limited public land in this unit? any stories from guys that have hunted here good or bad?

yes, and not just little deer, some good ones running around, especially by 3rd season. Hard to recommend it for elk though

thanks for the reply. when you say especially by third season do you mean this is a migration unit. also will you have your colorado info updated before the draw?

Randy, I hope to have the update done by the end of the week. I wouldn't really call it a migration hunt, just that they are lot more visible by third season and success jumps 10-12% most years.
