The score on those bucks was a learning experience for me. Never had the desire to measure before! I learned that a typical Shooterville goat scores about 9! And does are zero.

Mine had a spread right at 22". His about 15 4/8". Longest tine on mine was a tish over 9", his were about 13". Mass on mine was more, his was way more symmetrical. Each point was within a couple of 1/8ths of the corresponding point.

We measured ourselves and used the Boone and Crockett web site to do the math. Taxidermist guesses both a little higher, but he didn't measure anything.

Doesn't matter really. We didn't shoot scores, we shot bucks.

Better tell them to fly that plane like their hair is on fire T or you might be sleeping in an airport somewhere.

We're getting schneg according to my Polish friends. Combination of sleet, freezing rain and snow. Heavy stuff is supposed to start this afternoon. We're in the 4 - 8 inch range. Blizzard warnings posted for the Superior/Duluth area.

Got home to cold and rain. Not much snow left though. The only big snow left is where I need to dig the boat out of. I need to get that thing up for sale.

I'm not sure if we're in the snow range or not. I saw northern and western MN are in for a pile though.

I wouldn't blame the fligt on UA. With the weather, they're all crappy flying conditions right now. Ours was bumpy on the way there. On the way back I don't know if we landed or were dropped.

the issues were directly attributable to United apparently and not weather related. problems with the plane. board....unboard. board....sit on tarmac for 45 minutes....back to the gate and unboard. plane not able to be repaired.....plane able to be repaired...plane not able to be repaired.....new plane...no crew...wait...board....wait for 45 minutes while luggage found....sit on tarmac....etc.

8-11 inches of snow and 40 mph winds they are saying. whoooheehaw! stock up on canned goods, Ma!

Yeah, that stinks when it's like that. I've only had that crap once.

We thought my wife's bag was lost when we got to FL, but it just came 10 minutes after the others. I never check a bag, I'll do laundry before I let the clowns throw my stuff around.

We didn't have to go through a scanner either. I was the only one that got the "pat down", it only cost me a couple $ for a tip. They let the wife and kids go through at Minneapolis and Orlando airports without anything but the metal dector.

Smoke messages.... grin

Still raining here. Windy as heck. I got the boat up into the driveway. I didn't tear up the back yard to bad either. I need to get it cleaned up and take some pictures.

I gotta cut my grass in the morning. It has really grown with all of the 80 degree weather and sunshine we have had the past three weeks.Spring has sure come early this year. The tulips in the little area around my mailbox are blooming. What's all this snow crap ya'll are talking about?
Seriously it is really interesting the difference in weather and season progression from north to south.
