I agree with Rooster, that is some beautiful country around the Black Hills.

Too bad there isn't much to hunt around there;)

One of my favorite places is the Black Hills. I always wanted to knock down a turkey or two there.

I'd LOVE to hunt deer there. I've never shot a mulie, heck...I've never hunted for them.

I keep hinting to the wife that we should take the kids out there.

That is where we went for our honeymoon. We had a blast and the scenery is amazing!

We took the kids out there about 3 years ago for a week of camping....easily one of our best vacations.

We went to Yellowstone and the Tetons for our honeymoon. The wife is talking that it may be time to take the kids out there.

North of Keystone (south west of rapid city) on 16 is a place called the Powder house. Dusty told us about it.

I had an awesome buffalo rib eye there, you'll have to check it out.

Ryan, if I lived out there I'd have to buy another motorcycle.

I don't have much of a "bucket list" so to speak of but if there is a bucket for me with a few things inside it, one of them is to vacation in that area on a nice full fendered Harley soft bagger. Something like a road king classic or anything similar.

That area, those roads and the scenery, it's bike heaven.

I finally get my red truck back today.

Deer damage totally gone.

New look too, bumper, grille, upper bumper cover all different.

Hope it looks ok.

this place is so gorgeous! and expensive! wowsers.

plain houses start at 100,000

and with the economy being like it is, there are hardly any places for rent because folks who lost their homes or have bad credit are forced to rent.
its interesting to say the least, but I'm making good contacts and something will happen, I'm too stubborn smile

65 and sunny here in the hills smile

I walked into a shop to check out a Kimber and walked out with a dang Remington. How does that work? grin

I'll tell ya how it works. I went in to get a quote on a Kimber Montana, and started looking at the Rem. 700 Varmit pokers. They had a 700 VT? with a 26" heavy bbl, .223Rem for $509. The dude says if I buy it before the end of April, I can get another $75 off on a rebate. so.....no kimber today. laugh
